How To Install Curt Hitch 13333 On a 2017 Ram 1500

Question:
Hello, my Ram came with an installed tow assembly that looks like the 2019 installation integrated into the bumper with the center hole. How ever there is not a plate for the two bolts that go into the back of the receiver. Will I be able to drill and tap the tow bar, in order to install a receiver, and have a solid install? Thank you, Receiver for a 2017 Ram

The correct Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 2017 Ram 1500 is part # 13333. The Curt hitch installs using the single hole through the bumper and then with two additional holes on the back. The two oblong holes on either side of the license plate that you can see in the attached photo are the ones that will be used with the Curt Hitch. It's a complete bolt-on install with no drilling required.
I have attached an install video for you as well.
