Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2003 Toyota 4Runner that Can Be Used with Weight Distribution
Question:
I have an 03 4Runner V6 that has a factory hitch but it doesnt mount to the frame, it has the 7pin wiring harness. Im a bit confused as to how much I can tow with it ? I am looking to upgrade to a frame hitch due to the fact that I have weight distribution set up for my camper but Ive been told that the factory hitch, not attached to the frame is not set up for weight distribution. Can you recommend a frame mount hitch ? Thanks, The first picture is looking up at current hitch, next is my set up for the trailer

Hey, while torquing down one of the bolts the head broke off. Is there a way I can get a replacement ? The bolt was the Hex Bolt M8 x 1.25 x 30 mm CL 10.9. I wish the head didnt snap off, now I have to remove the hitch to get it out.
