How To Fix Stripped Gear Inside Lead Landing Gear Leg on a 2010 Colorado 5th Wheel
Question:
We have 2010 32 ft 5th wheel. The gears in the lead leg are stripped. The motor and gear box are ok. What do you recommend to repair this . The motor is Model #1-065-041012-01.

The most cost effective option we have for you to fix the issue you have with the stripped gear inside of your lead landing gear leg would be to obtain the Lippert Components Venture Lead Leg Repair Kit part # LC146059. If you want to replace the entire leg as well this can be done (although not necessary) but in order to offer a replacement I would need to know the outer tube length and your weld stop spacing.
