Does the Battery on a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Need to be Disconnected While in Tow

Yes, the batteries on your 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 must be disconnected while in tow. However, the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch part # RM-766 cannot be used on vehicles with a diesel engine therefore you would need a manual battery disconnect like the Deka Lead Quick-Disconnect Battery Terminal part # DW05312.
