For starters, the correct replacement switch for the Superwinch LT2000 ATV Winch 1120210 is the Replacement Rocker Switch part # SW2320200. I have attached a wiring diagram of the correct switch for you below as well as the text from the manual.

Route the red wire from the handlebar switch to the ignition switch and connect to the wire that is powered when ignition is in the ON position only. Route the two wires from the solenoid to the motor. Route the two wires from the solenoid to the battery. Attach the circuit breaker to the end of the red wire. Wrap the circuit breaker with electrical tape to prevent accidental short circuits. Apply several layers of electrical tape where wiring may come into contact with sharp metal parts of the vehicle to prevent insulation abrasion or cutting. Attach the short circuit breaker wire to the battery positive terminal and reattach the terminal to the battery. Connect the remaining black solenoid wire to the battery negative terminal and connect the terminal to the battery.

I have a Superwinch LT2000 Model 1120210. Not sure how old it is but probably around 10 years. While plowing snow my in line quit working although the out line is OK. So far I have determined that the rocker switch works as I hear a click when I press the in line. So the problem may be the solenoid but Im not sure how to test it. Incidentally the connections to the motor appear to be OK, clean etc.

You can test it by putting a voltage meter on the positive or negative post on the winch. You will then want to hit the toggle switch to make sure you are getting a reading down at the winch motor itself. If you are not getting a reading you could have a blown fuse. If you get a reading and the winch is not moving then you've got one of two things. The motor is either locked up from being exposed to the elements for many years OR the solenoid could be shot. I would test these few things and determine whether or not your winch motor is good. IF you are needing a new winch we have plenty to pick from in the link I have provided.

@Arnie I have the exact same problem. I'm pretty sure it's the rocker switch because I disconnected the wires at the switch(red, black, yellow, blue) and just stuck a wire from red to blue and black to yellow and the winch comes in just fine, connect the red to yellow and black to blue and the winch will go out. The problem is I can't find the replacement switch.

@Glenn We don't have any replacement rocker switches for Superwinch winches but you might be able to reach out to Westin (who bought out Superwinch) and they might have a suitable replacement for you.
