Wiring Diagram for Superwinch LT3000ATV

Question:

I purchased the above winch from you, I hooked up the black and red from the winch to the solenoid , installed the circuit breaker to the positive on the battery, hooked up the red and black from battery to the solenoid, installed the remote plug, the switch under the dash, mounted the solenoid under the seat on my 2014 Polaris Ranger. I checked the unit out, it will feed out cable but will not pull cable in. The solenoid makes a popping sound when you try to pull the cable in and will not work. Is there a better diagram of the wiring of the solenoid? the instruction/installation manual does not specify which wires to hook up on the solenoid.

I attached a diagram that shows how the Superwinch part # SW1130220 gets wired up. In it you can see which terminal you would need to run the black and red wires.

Is the battery you are using fully charged? What you described is typically the sound of a winch not able to draw enough amps to function.
