Tire Pressure for a 2018 Ford F-350 when Towing a Trailer

Question:

Hi, I have a 2018 Ford F350 with Michelin LT245/75R17EOWL AT. I tow an Keystone Avalanche RS320. According to the sticker on my truck I should have 75 psi in the front and 65 psi in the rear. The max on the truck tire is 80 lbs. What tire pressure should I run on my truck when towing? I have called Ford, Michelin and Keystone and none of them will commit to a tire pressure. I cant get a straight answer from any of them. They all tell me to call someone else! If you can solve this issue and give me an answer, it would be greatly appriciated. Thanks!

There is exactly zero information regarding the tire pressure to use when towing with your 2018 Ford F-350 both in the owner's manual and the official Ford 2018 towing guide which is why you can't get a straight answer.

But there is a statement in the manual that reads:

"The Ford recommended tire inflation pressures can be found on the Tire Label, which is located on the B-pillar or the edge of the driver's door. This information can also be found on the Safety Compliance Certification Label (affixed to either the door hinge pillar, door-latch post, or the door edge that meets the door last post; next to the driver’s seating position). Ford strongly recommends maintaining these tire pressures at all times."

This same warning appears several times in the manual so if it was me I would adhere to the sticker in the door jamb, towing or not.
