Trailer Running Light Fuse Location for 2014 Ford F-150

Updated 12/16/2024 | Published 05/29/2018

Question:

Need help with trailer lights. I have three different trailers. All turn signals and break lights work but no running lights. What fuse do I need to check for running lights?

I pulled up the owners manual of your 2014 Ford F-150 and it looks like fuse number 67 is the trailer running light circuit so that would be the one you would need to check. It takes a 20 amp fuse.

Did you check the fuse mentioned above? This type of issue is most commonly cause by a blown fuse under the hood. Let me know if this didn't fix the problem.

@WillieG I know your post has been up for a while hopefully you had this issue fixed by Now. My issue wasn't the in cab fuse it was the relay under the hood. I don't remember which one it was though but it's in the owners manual.

My small trailer has nothing light at all. I try to plug in the testing light but it's working too so it means to say that it's in the fuse but no idea what should I replace.

If your tow vehicle isn't sending signals to the trailer plug then that means you either have broken/missing fuses or that the wiring is bad. You can find the fuse locations listed in your copy of the owner's manual. Here is a link to trailer light troubleshooting that you can reference. It gives you step-by-step instructions and shows you what to check.

@Chris Can you grab the owners manual out of the glove box and see if you can find where they have the trailer running light fuse located?
