To secure the stern of your 24 foot pontoon boat, I recommend the BoatBuckle G2 Retractable Transom Tie-Downs # IMF08893. These heavy-duty ratchet straps are easy to hookup and will retract automatically. Their 2,500 pound maximum load (break strength) is more than enough for your 3,000 pound boat and 1,100 pound trailer.

The straps themselves measure 43 inches long and 2 inches wide. Two transom straps are included. I have attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can also check out.
