I want to run teasers from the outriggers. I assume I need a rupp teaser Clamp with eye-bolt. what Diameter do I need?

The CE Smith Outrigger Poles # CE56510 comes with 2 poles, each have a removable aluminum sleeve pre-installed on the base. With the sleeve installed, the outer diameter of the base is 1-5/8", which allows the pole to fit into most aluminum outrigger pole holders. The sleeve can be removed to change the base diameter to 1-1/2" so that the pole can fit into most stainless steel outrigger pole holders. The base and sleeve are both pre-drilled with multiple holes so that they can accommodate a variety of outrigger holders and their lock pins.

If you want to use the Rupp clamps with eye bolt, then you want the 1-1/2 inch inner diameter for these poles to fit anywhere on the carbon fiber pole or the 1-5/8 inner diameter to fit on the aluminum sleeve at the base.

I spoke with my contact at CE Smith and she said the only change that was made with the current generation Outrigger Poles is the type of coating that is used for the poles. It's less resistant to color wear and isn't susceptible at all to rust or corrosion. Otherwise the two models are identical.

CE Smith Outrigger Poles CE56511 Will these poles match up with Taco gs 280 outrigger mounts?

The base diameter for the CE Smith Outrigger Poles # CE56511 is 1-1/2" which from what I could find is what your Taco Grand Slam 280 mounts will work with.

Yes, The Bearing Buddy #BB2717SS will be the correct size for hubs with the 2.72" dust caps. This is a fairly common size found on 5,200-lb to 7,000-lb rated axles.
