Question:
I work for a automotive shop. A customer brought in a old camp trailer wanting the brakes replaced. The brakes on this one is odd I cant seem to find parts anywhere. The axles are Dexter 36-62. They have 10x1.5inch drums with a large 4 bolt pattern and use wheel bolts rather than wheel nuts. The backing plates are not removable so parts need to be replaced separately. I need to find replacement drums, shoes, magnets and hardware.

We do actually have Dexter electric drum brakes in your required 10 x 1-1/2-inch size, parts # K23-473-00 and # K23-472-00, which are right- and left-hand, respectively. These are complete bolt-on (4-bolt) replacements that fit wheels diameters from 13- to 15-inches and they are rated for a 3000-lb axle capacity. They include mounting hardware. Please refer to the linked review video for more details.
I recommend completely replacing both entire brake assemblies. Given the age of the trailer this will avoid the potential for some other brake component breaking in the near future. Also, the cost for whole new brakes is often not a lot more than for the replacement parts you would need. From the perspective of the customer's safety, this is an easy call. Bolting on and wiring new brakes will be a much quicker job too. I did link our page for brake replacement parts just for reference.
We do not have any hubs in this 10 x 1-1/2-inch size, only the 10 x 2-1/4-inch size like # 84546UC3, so you will need to have the originals turned so long as they are in good enough shape to do so.
If you can, please tell me the axle weight rating, brake mounting flange bolt pattern, the bearings used in the hubs and the hub bolt pattern. New hubs MUST use the same set of bearings.
