Replacement Axle with 56-3/4 inch Hub Face Measurement
Question:
I would prefer to order a replacement axle from you but I cannot seem to find exactly what I need. I need an axle with hubs having a 56 3/4 inch hub face and a 46 1/2 inch spring seat. I was hoping to go with one of your Dexter axles.

The closest trailer axle we currently have available to the dimensions you provided is the CE Smith Trailer Axle w Idler Hubs # CE33201GA-HUB. This galvanized steel axle has a hub-face-to-hub-face length of 57-1/2 inches and a spring center length of 46-1/2 inches. This is awfully close to what you currently have, so I recommend verifying your measurements to see if this will work.
This particular axle has a weight capacity of 1,800 pounds and includes idler hubs with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. For just the axle without the hubs, you can use # CE33201GA.
We do not currently have any Dexter axles that match the dimensions you are needing.
Another option I recommend considering is an Axle-Less System like the Timbren # A20RS545. An Axle-Less system will provide a smooth, quiet ride and can eliminate the need for a standard axle, allowing for maximum ground clearance. They will fit any frame width. This particular system has a weight capacity of 2,000 pounds and includes the 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern hubs.
I have attached a video demonstration on this system so you can get a better idea as to how they install and operate.
