We can help you select new wheels/tires for your 1983 Rockwood pop-up camper.
The linked page displays all 4-on-4 wheel/tire combinations we offer. These come already mounted together and are offered in various tire sizes. All you need to do is note the tire size on the camper (it will appear on the tire sidewall) or check your owner's manual for the recommended size and weight load range.
The just click on your size and then the Load Range needed for the trailer's GVWR (its maximum loaded gross weight). You can find this weight figure on the camper's main VIN sticker. The different Rockwood pop-up models for the 1983 model year have weights ranging from 800-lbs up to 1540-lbs so your choice of tire should be such that two of them meet or exceed the trailer's GVWR.
For instance, in size 5.30-12 we offer the Kenda Bias Trailer Tire # AM30790 which carries a Load Range C weight rating of 1045-lbs at 80-psi pressure. This tire and wheel are also rated 65-mph.
You can refer to the two linked articles for more on trailer tires and feel free to tell me your tire size and the trailer's weight if you'd like more recommendations.
