Question:

I have a 2016 Coachmen Catalina rear kitchen model. Id like to be able to tow my 10foot trailer w/my Honda 500 4 wheeler behind my camper. Would a bumper mount hitch hold?

As long as the bumper on your 2016 Coachmen Catalina Trailer is rated to tow a small trailer, the bumper mount Curt RV Bumper 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-100 will work great to pull your 10 foot trailer and 4-wheeler. The receiver itself has a 350 pound tongue weight and 3,500 pound gross towing weight capacity, however I do recommend checking with the trailer manufacturer to verify the capacity of the bumper. The hitch is designed to install on 4 inch square channel bumpers.

If you find that the bumper on your trailer is not able to tow a trailer, then a frame mount trailer hitch like the Curt Adjustable Width # 13703 will be perfect. This adjustable hitch can install on trailer frame widths from 22 to 72 inches and will provide the same tongue and towing weight capacities as the bumper mount hitch. This can be either bolted to the frame or welded on for a no-drill application.
