Comparing Curt Weight Distribution Hitch Systems C17002 and C17052
Question:
Can you tell me what the MV in Curt MV Round Bar Hitch stands for? Example:- What is the difference between Curt Hitch #17002 and Curt Hitch #17052 - other than a little weight and the MV. I have looked all over. Thanks

The two Curt weight distribution (WD) hitches you referenced, parts # C17002 and # C17052, are both round bar type WD systems that are intended for trailer tongue weights between 800 and 1000-lbs. Both include the same component parts (and both do NOT include a hitch ball or friction anti-sway mechanism).
The main difference between them is that the MV # C17052 has grease zerks at the head to make it easier to lubricate that friction point. I confirmed this with my contact at Curt.
