Question:

Does the Kuat NV 2.0 hitch bike rack could be use in a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon? If not, if there is an attachment that will help to clear the back stock spare tire?

Since a lot of Jeep owners like to use different size tires for their application, you will need to do some measuring to see if the Kuat NV 2.0, part # NV22G, will fit on your 2016 Jeep Unlimited-Wrangler with a spare tire.

When the bike rack is folded down, as if you were getting ready to load bikes, the closest part to your Jeep from the center of the hitch pin hole is 10-1/2 inches. If you were to fold it up, as if you were trying to park in close quarters, the closest part from the center of the hitch pin hole to your Wrangler-Unlimited would be 7 inches.

You will most likely be able to use the NV 2.0 in the folded down position, but I have my doubts about being able to fold it up. As long as the measurement from the center of your hitch pin hole to the furthest part of your spare tire is under 10-1/2 inches you will be able to use this bike rack.

My favorite feature about this bike rack is that it has a built in bike repair stand that will allow you to work on your bike while on-the-go. This bike rack has a weight capacity of 60 lbs per bike, but when using the 2-Bike Add-On, part # NA22G, that weight capacity is dropped to 40 lbs.
