I dont understand the difference in these: BWGNRK1062-5W BWGNRK1062 I assume the 1062-5W must be tailored to towing a fifth wheel somehow? Will I be at some disadvantage when Im towing a gooseneck with this one? How do they differ? Thank you!

You are correct. Both the B&W part numbers, # BWGNRK1062-5W and # BWGNRK1062, are the exact same product. We added the -5W to the end of the part number for the fit guide so customers knew which B&W Turnover Gooseneck Hitch worked with the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch, # BWRVK3500.
You will not have any issues towing with your gooseneck trailer when using the B&W gooseneck hitch. This gooseneck hitch has a towing capacity of 30K and is custom-fit to install on your 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 3500.
