Can I Haul a Large Grill With 24x60 Railed Cargo Carrier, part # 63153
Question:
I want to haul a large grill to tailgates. How will the height and weight of the grill affect the side to side torque on the center post? Will it be stable enough not to rock back and forth? The base of the grill is 22X35.

As long as you are not above the weight capacity of your trailer hitch, the recommended tongue weight of your tow vehicle, and the 24x60 Railed Cargo Carrier for 2 inch Trailer Hitches, part # 63135, of 500 lbs, you should be okay.
You will want to to also attach your grill securely to the cargo carrier, I would recommend something such as a 10 foot Ratchet Tie Down with Coated Hooks, 900 lbs (Qty 4), part # E01418.
As long as your grill is not extraordinarily tall the height should not be a big issue for you, if you would like something that would help get rid of the side to side play of the carrier I would recommend the Anti-Rattle Device and Lock for 2 inch Trailer Hitches, part # SR25219.
You should also balance the load in the carrier so the bulk of the load is on the center of the carrier.
I have also included a link to a video review of the # 63153 below for you to check out.
