Could Roller Bunks be Used for Flat Bottomed Pontoon to Make Shoreline Ramp
Question:
We are building a treated lumber ramp at shoreline so that we may winch a small pontoon boat clear of the water. This boat has plastic pontoons which are virtually flat on their bottoms with no keel. We would like to avoid a design which requires having to precisely line the boat up before winching. In other words, a lot of room for error is desired so that if we are off a foot or two when docking it will not matter. Do you think roller bunks or any other of your products could be arranged in such a way as to accomplish such? Thanks for any advice

Sounds like you are trying to build a shoreline ramp like what you see in the picture I attached. For a flat bottomed boat like yours you could use roller bunks like part # DL21741 with them laying totally flat on the ramp and they would work fine.
