Correcting Hitch Rattle on 2015 Jeep Renegade

Question:
Lots of vibration noise. They didnt account on the tail pipe on my 2015 jeep renegade Latitude from resting right on the rear cross piece of the hitch. I tried to pry the pipe up and away from the cross piece to no avail. It is such a short tail pipe that is connected directly to the muffler.

Hitch rattle can be a common issue and there are some easy ways to relieve the noise. The easiest solution is to bend the exhaust hanger up so that the muffler sets further above the hitch. I have attached a photo showing the exhaust hanger for you.
If bending the hanger does not provide a solution, another option is to try and replace the rubber exhaust isolater with a shorter isolater. The shorter isolater will help raise the tailpipe up futher away from the hitch.
I have attached a help article that covers these ways to help correct hitch rattle.
