Question:
Want to buy a hitch for my 2009 Honda Fit. The bike rack I have is a Yakima #Y2404 or #Y2405 Big Horn. I believe it is a Class 2 device. Can this work with the recommended device as I will not be getting anywhere near the 200# tongue weight or will the pin not line up?

Expert Reply:
For your 2009 Honda Fit the only hitches available are Class I hitches like the Curt hitch part # C11064. To carry a bike rack with this hitch will require the use of a Class I compatible bike rack. The two Yakima racks you mentioned would not work.
The most popular bike rack we carry that has been confirmed to fit this vehicle is the Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack part # S64670. This rack has a ton of positive reviews from our customers who have tried it. Check out the review video I attached for more info.
