Question:
I have an aluminum frame race car trailer with a wood deck on it. I am currently replacing the wood deck which was previously held down by long pop rivets. I was wondering if there was a different fastener I could use to screw my deck down with. The aluminum stringers running across only are a 1/8th to 3/16 in thickness of which the fastener can bite down to, so i am not sure if there would be a concern of them backing out ? thanks T

Depending on how thick the boards are that you plan to install in your trailer the 1-1/2" Long Torx Floor Screws # TF01150 could work well.
The screws are 1-1/2 inches long and are 1/4 inch in diameter. If the depth of where the screws can attach isn't very thick you can compensate for that by using more screws.
These are Torx screws so you would need the part # TX430-1 as a drill bit for installation.
