Locating Which Fuses Protect Towing Circuits on 2007 Yukon Denali

Question:

I had dim lights on my trailer due to corrosion on my plug. I spraid wd40 and took a wire brush to my plug extension while my truck was running. Made it spark big mistake. I cant determine what fuse is blown. 2007 yukon denali.

The fuses you're looking for will be in the fuse box in the engine compartment on the driver's side fender. Remove the cover, and check the fuses in the following locations:

3 -Trailer Left Turn/Stop
6 -Trailer Right Turn/Stop
10- Trailer Reverse Lamp
24-Trailer Running Lamps
66-Power to Brake Controller
71-Accessory Power Feed to Trailer Connector

Pull each fuse and replace as needed.

If you were needing to replace the existing trailer connector on your Yukon, the # HM40975 trailer connector would be an excellent replacement.
