Where is the Brake Controller Port on a 1996 Ford F250 7.3
Question:
I just bought a XL 96 f250 7.3 crew cab 4x4 with 300,000 miles. I tow a gooseneck from time to time, and need the electric brakes. I had an extra brake control module laying around the shop with a pigtail. My question is, where is the factory ford plug under the dash for the brake control module. Ive done loads of research, but I can not find any plug that resembles what I have found online. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated thank you. Pictures would also be great of the location of the plug, and what it looks like.

For most applications, the factory plug for installing a brake controller is located beneath the dash, near the center console. You will need to remove the lower dash panel underneath your steering wheel to access it. Check out the picture I attached to see it pointed out.
I also attached an install video for you to check out as well.
The wiring harness part # 3035-P that you referenced will plug into this port and will wire to your brake controller.
