B and W Companion Hitch with Slider Recommendation for a 2011 Ford Super Duty Short Bed
Question:
My question is about the BandW Companion fifth wheel hitch.I have the BandW goose neck turnover ball mount installed already but am wondering how well the Companion really is given the type mounting system it has in the turnover ball hole.Are these Companions that good and have there been any safety issues with them? I am in need of a fifth wheel hitch and would like to utilize my turnover ball mount, I plam on pulling a fifth wheel in the dry weight range of 9000 and pin weight no more than 2000. Thanks

The B and W Companion 5th Wheel Hitches like the part # BWRVK3400-5W are excellent fifth wheel hitches that I can assure you will do well in B and W Turnover Gooseneck hitch in your 2011 Ford F Series Super Duty.
Since your truck has a short bed you would need a slider hitch like this one to give you the needed clearance to make sharp turns.
These hitches have a great reputation because they are well made here in the USA and provide a quiet, smooth towing experience due to the excellent king pin contact and the fact that the hitch is cushioned.
