Tow Bar Lighting Recommendation for a 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Question:

I am in need of a wiring harness that will allow me to flat tow my jeep, via a tow bar, behind my truck/tow vehicle and still have running lights, brake lights, and turn signals illuminate on the jeep while it is being towed. My Jeep is a 2005 Wrangler Unlimited LJ. My tow vehicle is a Dodge Ram 2500 which has a round 7 spade connector. Do you have a harness that will splice into my Jeep wiring and allow me to flat tow it behind my truck?

For lighting you can use the diode kit, # RM-15267, and not have to worry about cutting into the taillight housing. This will splice into your taillight wiring to allow your tow vehicle to control the taillight assemblies of the towed vehicle. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the truck's 7-way.
