Extra Long Ball Mount to Allow Installation of Towtector Debris Guard on F-350

Question:

I need some help finding a hitch that will work with a towtector I recently purchased. My truck is a 2011 F-350 and I have a maximum of 6inch available from the spare tire to the pin hole. My current hitch is a 6inch 16K hitch. I have 3inch from the pin hole to where the hitch begins to which leaves my with less than enough room to mount my towtector. I need at least another inch between the pin hole to where the begins on the underside of the hitch. Ive tried looking around, but not all the hitches have the same measurements available which makes it hard finding one that I KNOW would work. Id like the trailer weight to be at least 10K. I was looking at this hitch: http://www.etrailer.com/Ball-Mounts/Draw-Tite/40332.html but I cant find any details on that space between the pinhole and where the starts. Let me know if you can help! Thanks, Eric

It sounds like you are looking for a longer ball mount to use in your hitch to allow installation of the Towtector debris guard.

I have linked you to our page for extra long 2-inch 10K ball mounts.

For a 2-inch size we offer the Brophy # BH20 which measures 13-1/4-inches from the center of hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole and either 3/4-inch rise or 2-inch drop. There are longer ball mounts but they do not have the 10K rating you need.
