Have a 2009 Wrangler Sahara two door with hard top. Want a rack system to carry two kayaksshort plastic 10. Dont care if I have to drill into roof, but dont want bars that whistle down the road. No gutters on this top except on tee top above doors. But want to have tee tops off while hauling. So if you can do this, I will buy it. Thank you,

We do offer a roof rack for your 2009 Jeep Wrangler Sahara with a hard top. You should be aware that anything attached to the roof of your Jeep will create noise,

The toughest part of any roof rack that is designed to fit your Jeep is that they will whistle on the highway. The roof rack we offer that is designed for your vehicle with no rain gutters is the Thule Roof Rack. This system features square bars which will create noise when attached to the roof of your Wrangler. To order this roof rack you will need part # TH712500, and part # TH65BJ.

This system also requires the Thule Artificial Rain Gutters, part # TH542. These will require drilling in to the roof of your vehicle to give you attach points for the roof rack.

I recommend the Thule The Stacker, part # TH830. This is a post-style carrier that will allow you to carry the kayaks side by side on your crossbars. This system also includes 2 adjustable tie-down straps to secure the kayaks to the carrier, and bow/stern tie-downs.

You may want to think about another option we offer. That would be to use foam blocks like part # RL100K10. This would eliminate the need for a roof rack and drilling into the roof of your Wrangler. You would not be able to have the T-Top removed when using these foam blocks on your roof.

You will want to check your owner's manual or with your dealership to make sure you do not exceed the roof weight capacity of your Wrangler.
