Hello, everybody. Adam here with etrailer. Today is a fun day. We're gonna be taking a look at the C.E. Smith Multi-Sport Trailer. So this is gonna be made of galvanized steel, so it's gonna be great for your fresh water but also your salt water applications for you coastal people out there, and this is gonna be a great way to make it a little easier to load up your boats, so if you do have kayaks or canoes, and you either are using your roof for something else, or you just don't want to hassle with the roof rack and just having to put it all the way up there, this is gonna be a lot easier to get those boats on there, but also for the boats that aren't gonna go up on your roof, whether it's a paddle boat or a Jon boat or a big raft boat, we can configure these bunks in different situations to fit whatever boat we are hauling. more

Malone EcoLight 2 Kayak Sport Trailer Review and Assembly- Video

Today, we're going to be checking out the Malone EcoLight Trailer with the V-bar, hull style, kayak carriers.Looking over here, you see what I mean When I'm talking about hull style, it holds it by the hull with these V-bars that have a nice protected padding on them, so they're not going to scratch up your kayaks or anything like that, and it makes it easier loading it in here from the waist. I can just load it up on my trailer instead of lifting it up on my roof and being a hassle. I can strap it all down right here to the trailer and get on my adventure sooner.Let's check it out. Malone EcoLight Sport Single Kayak Trailer Review and Assembly- Video

This is going to be bunk style and be good for your heavier fishing kayaks, or as you can see, we put on our regular kayak. The bunks just add extra support and more contact on your kayak and give you plenty of other places to strap it down with that contact being added by the bunks. Let's take a closer look at it.Now what I meant by more contact is You can see the surface area of the bunk is touching the bottom of our kayak all the way down there. So that's just, instead of being limited to like a J-style or it's just that one part or also the V-hull style, which those are fine. more

Malone MegaSport SaddleUp Pro Kayak Cradle Trailer Review- Video
Hi, it's Evangeline from etrailer.com, and today, we are looking at our Malone MegaSport trailer for two kayaks with our saddle up pro kayak carriers. While this trailer can hold two kayaks, which I think is perfect for when my friend and I want to go out on a float trip. If you need to carry more kayaks, this also comes with a two-tier option, which also allows you to bring more stuff, more equipment, more kayaks, whatever you need to have the best time. Now what's great about this trailer is if you and your best friend, your buddy, your partner want to go out for a float trip. It has everything you need, with storage space and kayak carriers to have a great day, and also for such a sturdy carrier and trailer, this is actually pretty light, you can, if you need to, bring it into your garage, you can just unhitch it and lead it in by hand with no problem. Easy.Now we're driving out our trailer on our parking lot and test course, as you can see, it takes these turns very smoothly, unlike larger and longer trailers that might worry about swaying, this goes really well with our vehicle. more

Malone MegaSport SaddleUp Pro Kayak Cradle Trailer Assembly- Video
Now, one thing I would recommend when you're getting ready to install this, there's a lot of boxes that come with this. And I would try to find a way to kind of spread it all out, keep things together, that way we don't get a hardware mixed up with different components. And if you follow along in the direction, you'll notice like group one. So I'm working on the main kind of frame here and it's group one. So the bag that comes with this is the hardware that we'll use so we're going to start out. And I have this laid upright, so the way that it will sit on the ground.Now you can see I have all these cross members here laid out that are going to run here, and then the two on the end are a little bit different. more

Malone MicroSport Trailer for 2 Heavy Boats Review and Assembly- Video
Collin: Hey everyone, it's Collin here at eTrailer. Today we're going to take a look at one of our Malone MicroSport trailer kits. Now in this kit you're going to get the MicroSport trailer, you're going to get the spare tire kit which comes with the spare tire, and you're also going to get two Malone MegaWing fishing kayak carriers. Now these kayak carriers are built to be able to handle those heavier fishing kayaks, up to 150 pounds, but as you can see we've got two normal kayaks on here and it can also handle those as well. We just don't have any fishing kayaks to be able to put on here to show you.Now what's great about this trailer is that's basically a roof rack on wheels, so it's going to allow you to carry up to two standard or fishing kayaks to and from your destination, which will create more space in your vehicle for other cargo or luggage, or in our case the bed of our truck. Now in this kit you are going to get the trailer itself, as well as two Malone SaddleUp Kayak Carriers and the spare tire kit as well.Now with this trailer kit, you are going to be able to get two of your kayaks loaded and strapped down with our included straps, and get them to and from the water without really having to hassle with getting the kayaks on your roof rack. At the end of a long day on the water, probably the last thing you want to do is try to struggle with getting those heavier kayaks up on your roof, and secured for the trip home.The kayak's going to sit nicely onto the saddles. You can see the rubber part of our saddles really forms nicely to the contours of our boat on both sides, which is going to make for a nice and smooth ride, and it's going to be a lot easier to get secured. And that nice, soft rubber is really going to help protect your kayaks from any type of scratches or abrasions.Each part of our SaddleUp Carrier is going to attach to our square crossbars pretty nicely. more

This is going to be able to haul your small boats, or two kayaks like we have here, to and from the lake. Now because this is a trailer, you're going to be able to get those elongated loads off the roof of your vehicle, or in the case of maybe a Jon boat that you might have that you don't have a trailer for. You're not going to be able to put a Jon boat on the roof of your vehicle.Now one thing that I really like about this trailer that I think stands out from other trailers, is that it's going to have multiple different types of configurations. Now, this is going to be a great tool to use when you're needing to haul more than just a single kayak or two kayaks on the roof of your vehicle and you still need to get other gear to where you're going. It's going to haul kayaks, canoes, and any other accessories that you might need to take on your trip.So, what's really going to set this apart from this other standard kayak trailers is your standard kayak trailer's just going to be a single level. Whereas this one is going to have that second level, which is going to give you more space. When you're hauling a kayak they do take up a lot of space, so you're not going to have any room to fit a bike rack or anything like that on the bottom. more

Malone MicroSport LowBed 2 Tier Trailer Review and Assembly- Video
Collin: Hey everyone, it's Collin here at etrailer.com and today we're going to take a look at Malone's MicroSport LowBed Trailer with the second tier. Now, this trailer is a great option for getting that extra cargo, or even that bigger equipment like our kayaks, loaded and taken with you on your trip when you might not be able to fit it in your vehicle. So, as you can see right away, the feature that stands out on this is that it has a second tier above that low bed. It's going to basically be a roof rack on top of your trailer. It's going to have two 50 inch crossbars for you to get your cargo up here. We've got our Malone box right here, and then two bikes on the other side.As you can see, with that second tier we've got all of our lighter stuff loaded on top, and that's creating more space down low for other stuff. more

It's perfect for hauling your recreational gear to campsite, beach, sandbar or trails. Magneta Sports Trailer Towable Roof Rack Trailer Review- Video
Today, we'll be taking a look at the Magneta Sports Trailer, part number RRT60. This trailer is also available with 80-inch bars, part number RRT80. Now, the idea behind this sports trailer, is basically take the roof rack off your vehicle and put it on it's own set of wheels. This is a great option for vehicles that have a low load-limit on their roof. In this case, we have a convertible. Now, the benefit of having it on it's own trailer, you don't have to lift your accessories on top of the vehicle so far. At the end of the day, your accessories might get a little heavier than when you started off with, so it's a lot easier to put it in place. First off, the load bars themselves, this is what's replacing your roof rack. Now, the dimensions are going to be 60-inches long, by 2-inches wide, and 1-inch tall. Now, the distance between the load bar center to center is going to be 34-inches. Now, this is a fixed point that cannot be changed. more

Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer Assembly- Video
Today we are going to put together Yakima’s Rack and Roll trailer, part number Y08107. The first thing we did is we went ahead and laid out all of our parts that we need to assemble the trailer. We are going to remove some of these parts and just deal with the pieces we need to use on a piece by piece basis. We are going to start off by building the trailer upside down first. So, we took our two frame parts, the fenders, flipped them over to where they would be upside down, and we laid out our front cross rail and our back cross rail. Our back cross rail is going to have just a single black wire attached to it. And our front cross rail will have the molded plugs on the end. We will go ahead and start off with the front rail. And this is going to match up to two threaded holes in the frame here. It is going to be identical on both sides of the trailer. Now, we are going to grab some bolts out of the bag labeled frame bolts. And we are going to pick up the frame member here until it sits up against this cross member and then we are going to install the bolts. It is going to be a bolt itself, a lock washer and a flat washer. And just finger tight for now. And we are going to go over to the other side of the front rail and do the same thing with the other frame member. We are going to move on to the back cross member and do the same thing again. Now, remember when we tighten these down, just finger tight, we still want to be able to move it around a little bit because there is still some more hardware to install. Now the first four bolts we installed actually kind of give the trailer its basic shape now. So, it will be easier to thread the bolts that go into the side of the frame now. Go ahead and repeat the same process again back on the other side. 2:04 more
