Can you Use Older Thule Square Bars with a 2011 Ford Explorer

Hi! I have 55 Thule Square bars that I have from a previous vehicle, and I just got a 2011 Ford Explorer. Will this length be sufficient if I get new towers to connect the bars to the factory side rails on the explorer?

Older 55" Thule square bars will work out fine for your 2011 Ford Explorer since the distance between the factory rails is less than that.
There is one caveat for being able to use your square bars: ensure that the bottom of the square bars has the channel to mount the towers. The Evo Raised Rail Feet for Thule Crossbars, part # TH710401, connect to the square bars by mounting into that channel.
