I spoke to my contact at Thule and she said to use the Thule Tepui Low-Pro 2 Rooftop Tent - 2 Person - 400 lbs - Gray # TH8001LP204 on your 1997 Suburban, you will need crossbars to mount onto your existing rails.
If you have raised roof rails on your 1997 Chevrolet Suburban, you would need the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - Silver - 60" Long - Qty 2 # TH711500 and the Evo Raised Rail Feet for Thule Crossbars - Factory Raised Rails - Qty 4 # TH710401.
This will allow you to use the Tepui Roof-top tent on your Suburban.
