Is the Swagman XC Hitch Mount Bike Rack Fit a Class I Trailer Hitch on a 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid

Question:

I have a CURT Manufacturing C11391 Class 1 Trailer Hitch on my honda civic hybrid 2009. This hitch rack S64650 on your website says its compatible for class 1-3 tow hitch but on another site the same rack says its NOT compatible for class 1 hitch. Im confused? Which one is right? Need to double check before I order it.

The Swagman XC bike rack, # S64650, does indeed fit a Class I trailer hitch. We have a video that I have linked for you, that shows it being installed in a Class I hitch. I have also included a link to the instructions for you. We physically test, install, and interact with most every product we sell so for the most accurate information, you can always look to etrailer.

Since you have Curt trailer hitch # C11391 please note that Curt requires the use of a stabilization strap, # 18050, for all non-trailer loads like bike racks and cargo carriers for their warranty. There is brief mention of it in the instructions for the hitch I have linked for you.
