Best Paddle Board Carrier Recommendation for Loading Paddle Board on Roof Rack
Question:
Can the Thule Hullavator carry a paddle board or just kayak? If not, is there a similar system that would carry a paddle board? I have a difficult time getting my SUP on top of my SUV. Thanks!!

I have a great solution for you. Check out the Yakima ShowDown part # Y04081. This is a similar lift-assist paddle board carrier that would work great for you. Check out the install video and picture I attached for more info.
Width wise the Thule Hullavator part # TH898 is compatible with paddleboards, but the issue is the vertical height. The J portion of the Hullavator, which is designed for cradling a kayak, would be to tall for a paddleboard as the board would slip right through since it would be impossible to tighten it to the rack.
