Question:
Do you make a dual receiver hitch to allow towing a trailer with a bike rake too. I know you have one for a 2inch receiver. We tow a very small tear and use the smaller receiver hitch.

We do not have a dual receiver hitch for your 2009 Ford Escape with a 1-1/4 receiver hitch, however we do have several excellent options for you. You can use a Class III hitch like the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver, # e56AR. Check out the installation instructions that I have included for you.
With this hitch you have the option of using a Hitch Mounted Towing Bike Rack # S64675. This rack fits firmly over the ball mount of your 2" receiver, enabling you to tow your trailer while carrying up to four bikes.
You could use one of the following ball mounts # 2736 or # D-28.
If you are pulling an A-frame trailer you may also be able to use the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Carrier for A-Frame Trailers, # CC-275. This part carries any 2" hitch-mounted bike rack on your A-frame trailer tongue.
I have included video reviews of these bike racks for you to check out.
