Question:
We are looking at the stacker kayak carrier for a gift for our daughter. She would be carrying 2 kayaks . She doesnt have them yet so we would need to know weight limitations. She does not have a roof rack so we would be looking for that also. Do you have a recommendation for a complete set up for her vehicle? Thanks

To determine your Daughter's 2010 Nissan Altima roof maximum weight capacity, you will want to view the Owner's Manual or check with Nissan.
Let's start with the roof rack! The roof rack system I recommend for the 2010 Nissan Altima 4 door is the Thule WingBar rack.. It's made of aluminum and weighs only about 15 pounds giving you more available weight capacity with the kayaks. You need the WingBars, part # TH711400 for silver or # TH711420 for black, along with the foot pack, part # TH480R, and fit kit, part # THKIT1580. Also, it will be one of the quietest roof racks available.
Another option I recommend and has a nice price point is the Rhino Rack RS-2500 # RRRS466. It has built-in locking legs to deter theft and a maximum carrying capacity of 110 pounds.
Now onto the kayak carrier! The Thule Stacker # TH830 you referenced will fit nicely with the Thule AeroBlade # THARB47 roof rack system and will hold both of your kayaks. It will fold down when not in use.
The kayak carrier I recommend is the Rhino Rack J-style 2 kayak carrier # S512. It's a great space saver and folds down when not in use. There is rubber padding on the cradle arms to cushion the kayak while in transport and will include 2 tie-down carrier straps. This kayak carrier will work with the Thule AeroBlade # THARB47. The weight capacity is 110 pounds. The included 4 tie-down straps will anchor the kayaks bow and stern to your 2010 Nissan Altima.
I have included a few videos and FAQ's for you as well.
