What Backing Style Does Hitch Cover Have

How does this hitch cover go in to the receiver hitch? Is it a clip, or does it have the square aluminum/metal back that actually slides in to the receiver hitch? Thank you.

Indiana University Logo hitch cover # AMG100178 features a backing of square metal tubing with a hole that your hitch pin or lock will slide through.
I would recommend hitch lock # e98880 if needed.
