Does the Curt Wiring Harness # C55528 Need a Wire Run to the Vehicle Battery
Updated 12/01/2014 | Published 11/30/2014 >
Question:
Im concerned for I did not receive any wiring to run to my battery from my trailer hitch wiring harness. Is that normal or am I missing necessary parts?

I checked your order notes and it looks like you ordered the Curt Wiring Harness part # C55528 that has been confirmed to fit your 2008 Hyundai Tucson and does NOT require a wire be run to the positive post of the vehicle battery like some harnesses do. So long story short, you aren't missing any components to your wiring kit and the harness should work well as long as you install it per the instructions that I attached to the right.
