Recommended Towing Mirrors for 2004 Tacoma Double Cab

Question:
I am interested in fender mounted towing mirrors for my Tacoma. Due to the width/thickness of the plastic surround on the wheel wells, with this mirror work? Will the fender mount grab that wide plastic? Also, other fender mount mirrors I have found used, are NOT visible due to the OEM drivers side view mirror.

According to my Cipa representative, a fender mounted mirror wouldn't work well with the plastic fender flares on your Tacoma.
Instead, I recommend their Deluxe Door Mount Mirrors, part # 11650. They're not the best looking mirror on the face of the earth, but they work very well and are highly rated by our customers. They extend out to 17 inches, and can be mounted in front of your existing mirrors so they don't interfere. I've linked you to a product demonstration video.
