I have a 2008 Toyota Rav4 with roof racks and cross bars. Im looking into the Hullavator to help w/getting my heavy Hobie Outback 2010 w/deeper hull on the top of the car by myself. What is the main difference between the 867XT and the 897XT and what, if any, parts do I need to ensure the 65-70 lb kayak is well supported by the factory rails? Thanks,

The Thule Hullavator # TH898 that you referenced is only designed to fit aftermarket crossbars from Thule so you will need to add the Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401 and 53" WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711420 on the roof rails of your 2008 Toyota RAV4 before you could install the # TH898.
The 867XT is an older version of the Hullavator that is currently not available anymore.
The Hullavator can accommodate a kayak up to 75 lbs so it should work well.
