Where Does the Power Wire for Trailer Wiring Install on a 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser
Products Featured in This Question
Question:
In the video of the 2004 model, there was a jumper post behind the air filter. There is not one there on my 2008 model. Where do I put the loop on the 2008 cruiser? Pictures are nice. Thanks.

I attached a link to the video you referenced that shows the Curt Wiring Harness part # C55532 being installed on a 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser. The battery and intake design might be different on your vehicle from what you see in the video but the process will still be the same.
You will need to find the battery under your hood, find the positive battery post (should be marked with a plus sign or the word positive), and then attach the wire to this post through the fuse holder that is included. Since there are a few different engine configurations for the 2008 PT Cruiser it's hard to say exactly where the battery is, but if you check your owners manual there should be instructions there on how to access it.
I also attached an install video for the Curt Harness # C55532 that you referenced that shows a different engine configuration that could be what you have.
