Long Bolt Kit for the Thule Hull-A-Port to Allow it to Install on Thicker Crossbars

Question:

I need 8 M6 bolts 80mm for my Thule hullaport kayak carriers to adapt them to thicker cross bars. Are there 8 bolts in this item #THXADAPT3? I have two carriers for two kayaks each carrier pair requires 4 bolts.

install on taller crossbars like it sounds like you have.

I called about this solution and the person on the phone said no, there is no way to install a Thule hullaport onto thicker bars and no one else makes anything to allow the attachment to thicker crossbars ??

The Xadapt3 # THXADAPT3 is designed specifically for the Hull-A-Port so that it can mount to thicker crossbars. I'm really sorry if you were told something different, but this is indeed a good solution.

Is this threaded all the way up? The solution Thule sold me at first didn’t work xsporter adaptor screws, as the were not threaded all the way up and the threading ended to soon to be useful.

Yes, the threading on the Xadapt3 # THXADAPT3 takes up the entire length of the bolt.
