Hello I have a Mercedes S55 2005 with rear tires 265/40 18 and would like to use the Cable Chains what size do you recommend. Thanks

The first thing you need to do is check the owners manual of your Mercedes S55 2005 to determine if there are any restrictions on snow chain/cable usage.
The Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains # PW1042 you referenced are confirmed to fit your tire size.
What I think would be your best overall option would be the part # TC1553 though as it is a chain that will provide much superior traction, will install easier, and will last longer. Cables don't usually work well past the first time they are used.
