Testing Trailer Lights and Electric Brakes without Connecting Trailer to a Vehicle

Question:
Have all my trailer lights, electric brakes and 7 pole plug wired up, I dont have my truck 7 pole outlet hooked up yet but I would like to function test everything. How can I power up my trailer plug and testing the trailer lights and Electric brakes?

If you have a separate car/truck battery you could apply power to each of the pins on the trailer connector (or the wires directly some point behind the connector) and that should power on whatever is associated with a given pin.
