Will Curt Replacement Hook Up Brackets # C17208 Fit a Trailer Frame that is 2 Inches Wide

Updated 10/14/2014 | Published 10/13/2014

Question:

I just wanted to see if these will fit my trailer frame. I sold my previous camper and did not take the brackets off. The camper is only 4400 dry weight. The frame across the top measures right at 2. Also I am curious about curt anti sway product 17200. My current hitch brand is made by husky, but with round bars. Thanks in advance!

Yes, the Curt Replacement Hook Up Brackets, # C17208, will fit your trailer frame which measures right at 2 inches. These brackets are designed to fit trailer frames up to 2-3/4 inches wide.

Although the Curt brackets, # C17208, will fit on your trailer frame and more than likely work with your Husky round bar weight distribution system, I can not make any guaranties since Curt does not test their products on systems from other manufacturers.

As for the Curt Friction Style Sway Control, # 17200, this system will work for you as long as your current weight distribution head resembles the one in the attached picture. It must have a tab on the side in order to mount the hitch ball for the sway control.
