7-Way/4-Way Integrated Trailer Connector Plus Additional 4-Way Recommendation for 2008 Dodge Ram

Question:

I have a 2008 Dodge Ram with a seven pole factory connector where my travel trailer plugs into and behind that is the 4 pole flat connector going to the rest of the vehicles wiring. I need that male and female 4 way to connect in-between the original setup and I also need one more female 4 pole connector so the male tailgate light bar makes a connection so I don’t have to splice. They say in the instructions you can plug the light bar directly into the 4 pin connector The problem is I don’t want to disconnect anything after the light bar is installed and have the ability to plug in my TT connection at any time. That would give me the extra 4 way plug for the light bar. Also I use an adapter to plug into the seven way for a four way flat I am trying to get away from the four way flat plug extension from vehicle to a lawn trailer, its too much wire. I seen the examples of Hopkins Towing Solutions but I am looking for that factory look with the seven way and the four way all in the same housing. The original housing for the 7 way is held in by four screws next to the license plate. Do you have one of these also?

If all you are looking for is a 7-way and a 4-way that are integrated together and would install on your 2008 Dodge Ram by simply replacing your current factory 7-way all you would need is the part # 42145. This would allow your travel trailer to plug into the 7-way when needed and then your light bar to plug into the 4-way. This installs with 4 screws around the perimeter of the housing like you said you were interested in.

Now if you are trying to leave the 4-way free so that you can tow a trailer with a 4-way and still have your light bar work you will need to also install the # 118381. This will install inline with the # 42145 and your truck's wiring harness.
