It very well might. Different circuits are affected in different vehicles. The reason you pull the fuse or bypass it is to prevent the vehicle battery from being discharged while its being flat towed.

Try pulling the involved fuse first for a few seconds, and then replacing it. If you lose the clock and radio presets, you know that using the fuse bypass will cause the same thing.
