Where is the Length Range for the Thule Adapter Bar # TH982XT Measured From

Question:
How do you get the bar to min 16 inches - that is measured from one end to the other - correct ? I can only get mind to 24 inches which is too long - must be doing doesnt wrong .

The distance range that the Thule Adapter Bar # TH982XT has refers to the distance inside the loops that attach to the bike frame. You aren't doing anything wrong with your adapter bar, you are just measuring from the wrong spot.
