Question:

I have a 2007 dodge ram 1500 with a hard cover over the bed it has one lock on top that locks it to the tailgate but no lock on talegate if I keep trying to open the gate it unlatches how can I fix this do you have a fix? Thanks

What you need for your 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 is a tail gate lock so that it cannot be opened when you have the tonneau cover closed and locked. We have a few different options that will fit your truck.

For a black manual lock you can use # PAL3400. For chrome use # PAL3400C. And for a replacement handle (black) with a lock use # LH-007.

There is also an option for a power lock, # PAL8340. If your truck does not have power door locks you can install switch kit # PAL9520.
