Pop and lock tailgate lock # PAL3400 for your 2003 Dodge Ram installs within the bezel of the tailgate handle and should not interfere with any type of bed cover or tonneau cover. The only way it would interfere would be if the cover on your truck bed uses any part of the handle or bezel.
