Which Trailer Vent Covers Let More Light Pass Through, White or Smoke

Question:

Which allow more light through, the white or the smoke vents. Is there any other difference that the color of the top makes? Is one more UV stable?

Expert Reply:

The smoke and white covers that are on the Ventline roof vents are both going to let quite a bit of light into the trailer. However, due to the translucent nature of the smoke covers they would let more light in.

Both would last about the same amount of time. One has not been shown to stand up to the sun better than the other.

For a smoke version of the part # V2094SP-30 that you referenced you would want the part # V2092SP-29.
